Official rules

This promotion (the "Contest") is run by Highwood Distillers Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caldera Inc., 114 - 10th Avenue S.E., High River, Alberta T1V 1E7 (the "Sponsor").

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the Province of Alberta who are 18 years of age or older (the legal drinking age in Alberta) at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, its agencies and contest administrators, and their immediate families and households are not eligible. Void outside Alberta and where prohibited.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

The Contest opens November 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time (UTC-6) and closes November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time (UTC-6) (the "Contest period"). Entries received outside the Contest period are void.

During the Contest period, complete the entry form at highwoodwhisky.com/giveaway/: provide your name, email address, and province, confirm that you are an Alberta resident 18 years of age or older, accept these rules, and submit. No social media action is required to enter or win. One (1) entry per person and per email address; additional entries from the same person or email address are void. The optional marketing-email checkbox is not required to enter and has no effect on your chances of winning. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void.

To enter without submitting the online form, hand-print your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth, and an original 50-word sentence describing why you enjoy Alberta whisky on a plain piece of paper and mail it to: Highwood Distillers Ltd., Flames Jersey Draw, 114 - 10th Avenue S.E., High River, Alberta T1V 1E7. One mail-in entry per outer envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked within the Contest period and received within seven (7) days after it closes. Mail-in entrants are placed in the same draw pool, with the same odds, and are subject to the same skill-testing question, identification, and release requirements on selection. Each person may enter only once in total, whether online or by mail.

There is one (1) prize, consisting of:

• one (1) Dustin Wolf #32 Calgary Flames red home jersey, approximate retail value $324.99 CAD, in an adult size chosen by the winner, subject to availability; and
• one (1) 750 mL bottle of Highwood 15 Year Old Canadian Whisky, approximate retail value $59.99 CAD.

The total approximate retail value of the prize is $385 CAD. The prize must be accepted as awarded. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. If any part of the prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor's control, including the winner's chosen jersey size, the Sponsor may substitute an item of equal or greater retail value.

The bottle of whisky will be awarded only to a winner who is of legal drinking age in Alberta (18 years of age or older) and who shows valid government-issued photo identification proving it at the time of award. No part of the prize that contains alcohol will be awarded to anyone under 18. The prize will be delivered only to an address in Alberta, or made available for pickup at a location in Alberta arranged with the Sponsor, and only by a method permitted under Alberta law. The person receiving the prize may be asked to show identification on delivery or pickup.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest period.

One (1) entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or about December 8, 2026. The draw uses a documented, reproducible method based on a public value announced in advance, so that the result can be independently checked. The selected entrant is not a winner until they have met every requirement in these rules. If they do not, or cannot be reached (below), an alternate entrant is selected by the same method.

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without mechanical, electronic, or other assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. The question is administered by the Sponsor by telephone, video call, or another method the Sponsor chooses, at a time arranged with the selected entrant. A selected entrant who does not answer correctly is disqualified and an alternate entrant is selected.

The selected entrant will be notified by email at the address provided within three (3) days of the draw and must respond within 72 hours of that email. Before the prize is awarded, the selected entrant must: (a) correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) present valid government-issued photo identification confirming that they are 18 years of age or older and a resident of Alberta; and (c) sign a declaration of eligibility and release. If the selected entrant does not respond in time, cannot produce satisfactory identification, does not answer the skill-testing question correctly, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the Sponsor may select an alternate.

By entering, you agree that if selected you may be required to consent to the Sponsor's use of your name and city for winner-announcement purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law. By accepting the prize, the winner releases the Sponsor, its parent company and affiliates, and their respective employees and agents from any liability arising from the Contest or from the acceptance or use of the prize.

Personal information collected for the Contest is used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, and contact the winner, and is handled under the Sponsor's privacy policy in accordance with PIPEDA and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. Entering the Contest does not sign you up for marketing email. You will only receive marketing email if you separately checked the optional opt-in box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The Contest may be promoted on Instagram and Facebook. It is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. You provide your information to the Sponsor, not to Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. When you enter, the Sponsor sends Meta an advertising measurement event that includes a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, as described in the privacy policy.

Highwood 5 Year Old is the Official Whisky of the Calgary Flames. The Calgary Flames are not a sponsor of the Contest and are not responsible for its administration, the selection of the winner, or the awarding of the prize.

Calgary Flames, the flaming C logo, and CALGARY FLAMES are trademarks of Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation, used under licence. NHL and NHL team marks are the property of the National Hockey League and its member clubs. Highwood and Highwood Whisky are trademarks of Highwood Distillers Ltd.

Highwood Whisky supports the responsible consumption of alcohol. Must be legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.

The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or amend the Contest if it cannot be run as planned, including because of tampering, technical failure, or any cause beyond its control. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical failure that prevents an entry from being received. Decisions of the Sponsor on all matters relating to the Contest are final. By entering you agree to these rules.

The Contest and these rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute arising from the Contest is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
