Official rules

This promotion (the "Contest") is run by Highwood Distillers Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caldera Inc., 114 – 10th Avenue S.E., High River, Alberta T1V 1E7 (the "Sponsor").

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the Province of Alberta who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, its agencies and contest administrators, and their immediate families and households are not eligible. Void outside Alberta and where prohibited.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

The Contest opens [OPEN DATE TBD] and closes July 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Entries received outside this period are void.

During the Contest period, enter by completing the entry form at highwoodwhisky.com/giveaway/, provide your name, email, Instagram handle, and province, confirm eligibility, and submit. One entry per person. To be eligible to win you must also, on Instagram: follow @highwoodwhisky, like the announcement post, and tag at least one friend in the comments. These social actions are verified for the selected entrant before any prize is awarded.

To enter without using Instagram or submitting the online form, hand-print your name, mailing address, email, phone number, date of birth, and an original 50-word sentence describing why you enjoy Alberta whisky on a plain piece of paper and mail it to: Highwood Distillers Ltd., Flames Draw, 114 – 10th Avenue S.E., High River, Alberta T1V 1E7. One mail-in entry per outer envelope; must be postmarked before the close date and received within seven (7) days of it. Mail-in entrants are placed in the same draw pool.

There is one (1) prize: two (2) lower-bowl tickets to the first Calgary Flames regular-season home game against the Edmonton Oilers in the 2026-27 season (the first "Battle of Alberta" at home ice; date subject to the published NHL schedule), plus one (1) bottle of the Highwood 25 Year Old. Approximate retail value [$VALUE TBD] CAD. The prize is awarded as-is, is non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted except by the Sponsor.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest period.

One (1) entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries after the Contest closes. The draw uses a documented, reproducible method. The selected entrant must satisfy the eligibility and social-action requirements; if they do not, or cannot be reached (below), an alternate entrant is drawn.

The selected entrant will be notified by email at the address provided within three (3) days of the draw and must respond within 72 hours. The entrant must confirm eligibility and sign a declaration and release before the prize is awarded. If the entrant does not respond in time, declines, or is found ineligible, the Sponsor may draw an alternate.

By entering, you agree that if selected you may be required to consent to the Sponsor's use of your name and city for winner-announcement purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law.

Personal information collected for the Contest is used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, and contact the winner, and is handled under the Sponsor's privacy policy in accordance with PIPEDA and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. Entering the Contest does not sign you up for marketing email. You will only receive marketing email if you separately checked the optional opt-in box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta. You provide your information to the Sponsor, not to Instagram.

The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or amend the Contest if it cannot be run as planned. Decisions of the Sponsor on all matters relating to the Contest are final. By entering you agree to these rules.
